About Absence Manager

Absence Manager offers two methods for employers to efficiently and effectively capture, report and manage employee absence whilst also offering a flexible system that can be tailored to a company’s own needs, including routing of information to internal departments or external service providers.

Automated Absence Manager allows employers to intelligently capture, monitor and track rates of employee absence using a remote web and telephone based system. The service is fully automated and voice activated and records details such as employee name, department and the reason for their absence. It also generates a notification of the absence to the relevant line/reporting managers.

Nurse-led Absence Manager is for those organisations that would like their employees to speak to a trained clinician in the event of an illness or injury. An experienced nurse (supported by a dedicated team) is contacted via a central telephone number and the employee absence recorded in a similar way to Automated Absence Manager.

All information captured by Absence Manager is available to the relevant managers immediately, via email, SMS or telephone. Both systems allow for tracking absenteeism across the business - irrespective of locations and geographic boundaries. This helps managers to develop appropriate strategies to tackle any issues that may arise as soon as possible, reducing any potential damaging effect on the business.
