About Absence Rehabilitation

Absence Rehabilitation can be integrated with either the Automated or Nurse-led Absence Manager system. It has been designed to provide a robust, consistent and clinically-led absence management service that aims to help employees recover and back to work as quickly as possible.

In essence Absence Rehabilitation consists of a remote Nurse-led case management which can be supported by relevant Occupational Physicians and appropriate rehabilitation services, depending on employer requirements and products and services already in place, such as private medical insurance, protection or occupational health.

Key steps include:

Step1: Absence logged with line manager and information sent to case manager according to pre-agreed triggers. Step2: Case Manager identifies most appropriate treatment/course of action and informs employee and employer. Step3: Employee receives most appropriate treatment/course of action. Step4: Employee returns to work/case manager recommends alternatives if employee still absent. Step5: Case manager captures MI and provides agreed reports back to management.
